I promised you a post about the difference between entrepreneurship and business. It is he.

An entrepreneur is a startup in spirit. He heroically overcomes problems, he has an idea in his eyes, he sacrifices everything that comes to hand to achieve his goal: money, health, personal time, even the trust of loved ones.

When all this ends and there is no great success, which happens in 99% of cases, he begins to think, what would be such a "drink" to move on?

I was like that and I know from myself that the entrepreneurial frenzy of "dementia and courage" interferes with making decisions soberly.

Even now I find myself making some decisions and remember the last time something like this happened. And if I do not agree with the decision that was then - for me it is a cut-off that before that date I was not yet mature enough for such problems.

A businessman is a person who builds a business. He has departments, bosses and subordinates, he has an understanding of the ongoing processes, he has key employees. And most importantly, everything counts for him.

Projects are strictly adhered to within the framework of profitability, and mistakes are punished and measures are taken to prevent this from happening again.

Not as you might think, "Guys, let's not do this anymore, okay?"

The conversation goes like this: "If you don't work like this, you won't work here. Am I making it clear?"

This is just for the sake of atmosphere, I give an example, but this is the essence of all forms of dialogue that a businessman has with department heads. With managers, not with department employees.

A businessman is not a capitalist as he is portrayed. Not your boyfriend. Not a friend. Not a dude. He is emotionally dead in some way, because it is difficult to talk to them not on business, and even then, most likely, a booze will turn out.

The reason is simple - he just got tired of being an entrepreneur and started building systems. Stepped over something inside. Somewhere he closes the question with people, and then automates it. All margins and super-benefits are directed either to the development of the company or to dividends after taxes.

You can disagree, it is also difficult for me to feel it all to the end. But I am familiar with such real ones. And there are even a couple of sharks who pretend to be entrepreneurs, but in fact you have already been counted in parrots and boas.

What is the bottom line?

The most important thing to know if you are an entrepreneur is to take care of your social connections and try to start counting money early.

The most important thing that you need to know if you are a businessman is not to push the entrepreneur, give him the opportunity to crap, help him to kneel, and then he will be able to endure in the long term and become stronger. And you will earn for a long time, and not "here and now."

There are also subspecies:

  • Comers who take money here and now, crush everything that can be crushed. This is the style, they think little about the future.
  • Capitalist corporations, who are like officials, only in large companies. In general, everything is complicated there, but if you find such a customer and help him do projects, then you will receive your share and contracts while he solves his political games and you are useful to him in these games.

I want to remain an entrepreneur longer, "hungry" and with an open mind to look at everything. Therefore, I direct all available free funds to the development of the team and the company, and not to my pocket. But I don't forget about basic needs, because the appearance of children is an important sign, where there is a cutoff in the head.
