Why are webhooks needed in real life?
12.03.2021
As a result of today's lecture, the guys have several questions. The main one - why do we need webhooks in real life?
Webhook is a command to the server that we send. We pressed a button - the team flew away.You can customize your working Planfix so that you always have the necessary buttons in front of your eyes, clicking on which will launch the sequences of actions you need.
Example:
- Arrived request from the site => We sent data to Analytics / Metrica.
- We processed the order => We sent it to CDEK.
- CDEK's order statuses have been updated => we catch webhooks from them and update our orders.
- The client must be placed in the chain of letters / notifications => the webhook flies to Mailchimp / Unisender / etc. and the necessary functionality is launched.
- As a result of processing, we throw the webhook back to the site or to another CRM system to control statistics.
In the end, we started talking about difficult examples, and it was already difficult for most of the guys. But, I hope, everything will turn out to be mastered and they will come to the new lecture as ready as possible.
And at the next lecture we will solve personnel issues by Planfix:- hiring;
- dismissal;
- vacation / sick leave;
- VRIO;
- suspension from tasks;
- work with labor documents;
- funnel for training newcomers.
