Challenge for managers
This week is difficult for most inexperienced project managers who are used to working with weekly sprints.
The fact is that the end of the month and quarter falls in the middle of the week, which means that some tasks need not only be completed before Wednesday, but also prepare reports, answer questions, plan a new period, etc.
The difficulty is that usually such stages are shifted closer to the beginning of the week or towards the end, and then the other workload is distributed more evenly across projects.
So what to do?< p> I propose to negotiate. In some projects, you can postpone reporting at the end of the week, in other projects, you can shift the deadlines in advance so that the monthly sprint ends last week on Friday.
And in the latter case, you need to follow the parameters of the contract regarding reporting .
Under our contracts, it takes from 5 working days to provide a report and the current situation for us is rather stressful in completing work within a calendar period, so as not to postpone tasks to a new period. This challenge is very important for managers.
